I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really happening.
