Liverpool's Star Issues Apology to Squad, Reveals Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has shared that Mohamed Salah said sorry to the team after the fallout from his recent interview.

“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I'm sorry.’”
Arne Slot has chosen not to disclose on whether he was apologised to from the 33-year-old forward.

The player stated that the squad's reaction remained positive. “Nothing about him changed, he had a big smile on his face and we all treated him normally,” the midfielder explained.
Jones also implied that a competitor wanting to play is less of an issue. “It's clear there are specific approaches you can handle situations,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just be on the bench, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”

Liverpool's form have remained strong in the period after the initial controversy. He feels the outburst were never meant to harm the team.
